Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini Yoga in Adelaide
Kundalini Yoga is a powerful practice of self-awareness and inner transformation, and I teach it weekly in Westbourne Park, Adelaide. Combining movement, breathwork, meditation, mantra and deep relaxation, it settles the nervous system, releases stored tension, and builds a steady, lasting sense of calm and presence you carry well beyond the mat.
More than exercise: a practice for the whole nervous system
Where many yoga styles focus on the shape of a posture, Kundalini Yoga works with energy, breath and awareness. The sequences (called kriyas) pair movement with specific breathing and meditation to shift how you actually feel - calmer, clearer, more resilient.
It is one of the most direct practices I know for releasing stress and emotional tension. People often arrive wound tight from the week and leave genuinely settled, as if their whole system has exhaled.

Questions
Kundalini Yoga FAQs
Absolutely. Kundalini Yoga is far less about flexibility or fitness than about breath and awareness, so newcomers settle in quickly. I offer variations for every movement, and you are always invited to rest whenever you need. Most first-timers are surprised by how welcome and capable they feel.
Wear comfortable clothing you can move and breathe in, and bring a yoga mat if you have one (I have a few spares if not). A bottle of water and an open mind are all you really need.
